Blazers in Outest Space

We had to get them all, we had to get the best. After three months, the Blazer jam is finally up. On November 28th, 2008 The Barbarian Tide set a new endurance record, completing 27 tracks totaling over 2.5 hours. We set it up. We sat on top of the world. We definitely got ourselves into the f***ing vortex.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to find my spaceship. Where did I leave it?

Since it's no fun downloading 27 separate tracks, this album prompted a new feature on the site. Now, by clicking on the name of an album from the main music page, you can get to a page where you can download an entire album as a zip file.

Enjoy.

Blazers in Outest Space

we had so little.
when we set off from that distant ball of light, we had so little with us. in our youth and naivete, we only knew what was taught us; suited gentlemen and frocked ladies, beamed to us, roaming the countryside of the blue planet, vicarious memories empathically absorbed through our neck gills like the natives breathe oxygen. we arrived as children, cloaked in the blazers of our masters.

we had so little then.

now we sit on top of this world, our own memories fading inside yours, given us. in search of our spaceship, lost. the score reports and tallies of our texts long ago mislaid. traveling this far to find you in the wide open spaces, we lost ourselves in these dark corners.

how do we know what we wanted?
how do we know what to do?
